This plate has been thrown on the wheel and shaped to a pentagon. The rim has been decorated with slips containing iron, rutile, cobalt and chromium and finished with overlapping glazes. A high temperature reduction firing produces distinctive reds from the copper glazes and interactions between the iron bearing slips and the glazes. Post and packing extra.
