Forge Gallery is a grade II listed building in a conservation area of West Sussex. The former village forge has been converted to provide an outlet for artists and makers, chiefly local. Mike's interest in ceramics (he has his own studio on site) has resulted in a good collection of potters' work which is constantly being developed and renewed. The gallery had a close working relationship with the internationally famous Eric Mellon who lived nearby.
Gallery Closing - Mike says "Our intention is to open for one off exhibitions and some day courses. There is already an exhibition arranged for the week 6th to 13th June, where we will exhibit the paintings of David Johnston. David's photographic work on the Sussex countryside has appeared in many local and national magazines receiving some excellent reviews.
