In November Art in Clay are holding their 11th Southern Pottery and Ceramics Show in Farnham, Surrey. Alongside the usual high calibre of potters, this year they will be featuring the work of Ashraf Hanna, Deidre Burnett, Mary Wondraush three internationally acclaimed makers. Deidre known more recently for her stoneware and porcelain vessels, many with textured volcanic surfaces, has works in collections across the globe and has been making and exhibiting since 1971.

From further a field, Lluis Soler & Nuria Alba will be travelling from Spain to show their distinctive figurative work. We’re pleased to have Niek Hoogland from Holland making his Farnham debut Niek makes pots to use and serve food in and he calls himself ‘a village potter’…….it’s a big village as he now has a large International following especially in the u.k. Andy McInnes the show organiser is delighted with the range of exhibitors and work at the show that has become a highlight on the calendar of art collectors in the South and South East, “with such a strong emphasis on homes and interiors we are looking forward to welcoming not only collectors and enthusiasts, who know to expect the vibrant high quality work, but also people looking to buy something different for themselves or their friends and family this Christmas”.

Entrance Fee: Adults £4.50 Seniors £4.00. Children: 5 - 15 yrs £1.50

The talks will take place in the lecture theatre, which is through the great hall and at the back of the stage.
