I work out some of my personal, social and political issues through my pot making. I aspire to make work that embodies an aesthetic awareness, and also holds ideas and wisdom. This is expressed through repeat images, often of domestic objects.
The work is hand built with terracotta clay. I make my drawings into decals, firing them onto glaze, leaving the clay exposed. My pots are often sprigged and painted with under glaze colours and lustres.
