Current Work
I make saltglazed stoneware and porcelain. My production is made up of
a small amount of domestic ware but I tend to concentrate on the
one-off piece based around the functional form.
Technical InformationI once-fire all my pieces to 1320°C in a 1 cubic metre wood-fired kiln. The firing lasts 30 hours and includes 4 hours reduction and 2 hours salting. I use 5 slips, and 4 vitreous slips. All pots are slipped and decorated when dry. History
