Current Work

I work mainly on stoneware sometimes use porcelain bodies. My works are hand built and fired in an oxidizing atmosphere.

Technical Information

I use an electric kiln, firing temperature goes up to 1280c.
I refire some pieces twice or three times until I'm satisfied with the result.
I often use slips and dolomite based glazes and ash glaze.

History

I set up my own pottery studio in 1997 after learning pottery skills at ceramic courses at Kingsway College and Brunel University Art Centre.
